is a probe gt a sports car?

i have been desperately looking for a first car, i finally found a good looking car called a probe gt and was wondering if its a sports car (mom won't let me have a sports car lol) and if it is a sports car then could someone give me a list of cars or just a car that looks sporty but doesn't have a big engine in it so is it a sports car? thank you
