Is a license needed if one is breeding and selling only a small number of birds in NYS?
I realize that there is a list of a few caged birds like parakeets and canaries that can be bred and sold in NYS without a bird breeders license. I was considering breeding a few small to medium size birds for sale that are not on the list just as a hobby and not in large numbers. Can one breed a certain number before requiring a lisence? If the answer is yes then does anyone know what that number is?
