Is a Kawasaki KDX1 26-Inch Dual Suspension Mountain Bike a great mountain bike?

Im trying to get a mountain bike for my boyfriend in the $200 and less range. We live in the mountains and go to college and hes been wanting a good bike he can go trail riding with and for campus. Is this a good bike and any suggestions would be nice! Thanks!
 
You want to avoid any full suspension bike in that price range. You won't find a good hard tail bike in that price range. Getting the correct size bike is very important so you need to find out what size he needs first.
