Is a iphone better then a hiptop slide ?

yes iphone is better. Smoother and easier UI. not to mention the over 140000 apps that you have access to. if you can afford one I would get an iphone.
 
My parents have iphone 3GS the S is for Speed so its faster so i say buy the iphone when your contract ends or renews and then you got yourself and iphone but on the otherhand is that the iphone doesnt have a slide out keyboard. it has a vertual keyboard but its pretty easy to use. there are not many ways the iphone can break because there arent many moving parts unless you drop it so much. so i say get the iphone 3GS and enjoy all of the cool apps and what ever you need it for.
