Is a Honda cbr600 rr good for my first motorcycle?

I know of the other so called beginner motorcycles but I like that motorcycle though and I have taken courses already. So is the Cbr600rr a good first motorcycle? Oh and I live in California so its always sunny. Where can I also find one for a good price. A serious question would be nice thank you.
 
It's not a great first bike, but it is not too much to handle. But remember, it's a machine and machines will do what you make them do. It won't stop because it thinks you want to stop. Just respect it. And you can find them for a decent price on Craigslist with some haggling. Do some research and know what to look for. Learn how to haggle. Lie to the seller about what would have to be replaced to get it inspected. Because god knows they are lying to you. Good luck.
