i have been ridng kawasaki ninja 250cc bikes since 2002. I had a 1999 model and a 2008 new model. I am a comfortable rider. would it be good for me to to now upgrade given my experience? to a honda 600cc sportbike or triumph 600cc?

A cbr-600rr is a great motorcycle. Even for someone just learning to ride a motorcycle. It is a very tame bike. That's not to say that it doesn't pack a punch. Its just a little more tame than some of the other 600cc bikes. I currently have a R6 and i love it. I have ridden my friends cbr-600rr a couple of times and it is by far more comfortable than my R6. Hope this helps

I'd say you have enough experience to handle a 600cc sportbike. If the CBR is the one you want, I'd say go for it. It's really a good bike, if you want a sport bike, it's just not for beginners. But you're not a beginner.

Triumph is also very nice. English bikes have a distinctive character, and a lot of people prefer them. I think they're a bit more expensive though, and not as reliable as Japanese iron. The Triumph might be cooler, might get more attention, but the CBR is probably a better, more reliable bike.
