in the rear window? Hey, anybody out there own a Ford Fusion? Our youngest son who hasn't been driving too long got a Ford Fusion yesterday evening. We haven't actually signed the papers yet, we will be doing that tomorrow. We have looked on Edmunds.com to get consumer reviews and overall the Fusion got very good feedback from consumers, except when it comes to the rear window. It is so hard to see when backing out, and I'm just wondering if people experience the same prob. when trying to clear lanes when you're on the interstate or something. I mean, we don't want to put him in something that's going to make it harder for him, especially when he's inexperienced already, and not being able to see well when backing up is bad enough, but at least he'd barely be going at a low rate of speed. Not being able to see well when he's up on the highway with people whizzing all by and around you is a lot bigger concern for me. But I don't know how much of a prob. it would be with the rear window, maybe that's more of a side window and mirrors issue when changing lanes, in which case then the back window won't really be a prob. Anyone who owns one of these cars, I would appreciate the feedback soooo much before we take the plunge tomorrow and sign those papers. Basically I'd like to know if your experience with your Fusion or any other car with poor visibility out the rear window, is more of a problem when backing up or when making lane changes. Thank you! Oh, and one more thing I forgot. The car he's getting also has a spoiler on the back, which prob. doesn't help the issue! It doesn't make much of a difference, but a little.
