A 352 is the forerunner of the old 390, 406, 427 wedge head motor. They're all considered big and heavy blocks.

Yes it is considered a big block but only match up to the 390 - and 427. it is what is called an FE motor as the intake is part of the heads if you look at it you well see that the intake is under the valve covers....
It is not the same as the big block 429 and 460 these are what they call a 385 Series motor and not the same as the 352 nothing well interchange.
