Is a doctor a good career?

Hey im deciding on my career and I intend to pick my GCSE's based on a medical job (doctor) and is it a good career?

how many years do i spend at uni?

what sort of grades do i need? (A,B,C?)

basicly whats it like? is it for a certain person?
