is a chevy avalanche considered a multipurpose vehicle?

I'm getting my truck tinted, and in the state of Louisiana it says that the back sides and rear can be anything on a MPV.

is a 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche considered "multipurpose"?

Your Avalanche is listed under trucks on dealership sites. This is probably because they can be fitted with a fifth-wheel tow package. As I searched for classification, I did find some that had factory installed "limo tint" on the crew cab windows (rear doors) and back glass. Hope this helps.
