I'm 15, charged for burglary. The item was worth over 1000$. I'm 15 and am awaiting my court date. So, I was told when I was arrested I would face a month in juvenile hall and at least 2 years probation until I heard about this Mediation program. I just wanted to know if i was eligible for it.
The victim of the burglary has contacted me and has shown compassion and kindness towards me, so I have a feeling she'll agree to meet, if I am indeed eligible for it.
So basically, I entered her house, not by force, went in, stole her Mac computer and left. The neighbors had a description of me, and it's a small town so the police found me and searched my house, where they found the computer. Nancy (victim) and I have made amends
