I have always heard that full term is 37-40 weeks, but I was just watching this show called NICU and there was a baby born 4 weeks pre mature and she was really little and having trouble breathing. So when they said she was born 4 weeks pre mature were they talking 36 weeks or 33 weeks? What does a dr consider pre term?
Is a baby considered pre term before 40 weeks or before 37?
