9th grade English teacher? Or should I condense it into something shorter? Even if I tried I'm sure I could only make it 7 pages at the least...would it make a difference? I don't want to make it seem like I have run-on ideas and thoughts, but at the same time I feel it is enough, but too much. I do have a tendency to be a bit wordy at times...

I was told to read the first book of the series Pendragon for my first essay and I SOMEHOW managed to pull nine pages of information out of SOMEWHERE. There were questions to answer, but they were only supposed to be guidelines to get started. But the thing is when I type on my phone, I have no idea how it will actually look on 8x11 paper so I ended up writing a lot more than what I considered "normal". But then again, I've never seen or written a high school essay so who am I to judge?
