with them? tank size 60cmx30cmx28cm, have everything else i need. is it big enough for 2 clown loaches? is it better to get 2 females or 1 male and 1 female? also are there any small schooling fish that will be compatible with these?
No the tank is far too small and they should be kept in 3 or 4's
. They grow to Between 7 and 10 inches so they need much more room. You need to be looking at at least a 220 - 300 litre tank to keep 3 or 4 in along with some other fish. Tiger barbs live quite happily with clown loaches as do some of the corydoryas family. Maybe look at the Panda Cory's.
