I'm trying to find my first car and my parents said it can't be expensive or anything.
Is a 09 honda civic coupe DX 5-Spd AT bad?

or any suggestions for a first car?
all my friends said to get used cars, but i dont know where to find any.

If your parents say it's okay to get a new car, then i would definately go with the civic coupe. I had an 04, and they are great cars. Also try the honda fit, or the nissan versa they are really roomy and sporty.

That's a real good car. It has a good reputation, low insurance, low gas bills, low maintenance. You can probably put 200k miles on it.

If you want a cheaper car, the corolla compares closest to the civic.

why dont you get a civic si if you want some speed. waaaaaayy better if you can afford around 23+ grand and sports car insurance. if you cant afford this (like me lol) definately go out and research on used cars in your area. if you just want to get around and dont care about speed get a normal honda civic new for around 15 grand or if you want a little looks get a stylish but affordable mustang for around the same price if you cant even afford this then get a used car. you'll probably end up getting a used car like me first and end up getting a nice car later on. i'm getting a camaro someday...
