I am interesting in getting my first bike soon and need some help picking a good one. I am 17 years old (I know they are very dangerous so please spare me the warnings) and want a decent bike that will be good for a beginner overall. (handling, quality,...) Is a 2006 yamaha YZF R6 good? There is a guy that listed his 2006 yamaha YZF R6 (50th anniversary edition) for $2900.00, is this a fair price? Could I get a better bike for around that price? Also I am on the short side, 5 foot 6 inches, will I "fit" this bike? I'm concerned about my leg and arm length, I haven't tried out any bikes yet so I don't know what to expect. Please just opinions, no criticism.
