is a 2000 pontiac firebird with 116000 miles selling for 5500 a good price?

I'm tryna buy my first car and I don't know if the mileage is too high or not for that price
 
in good looking condition,,good tires...quiet motor,,,2500 tops.
all used cars with no extended warranty are a gamble..and this one is only worth 2500.
