I am thinking about buying one and want to know if it is a good choice. It has about 99,000 miles on it. Does it have any common things that go wrong and what would you give it with an overall rating 1-5. Please only answer if you have had one or are a mechanic who knows. Also how is it as a family car....I have 2 kids; 4 and 3mos. As well as gas mileage. Thanks.
well I am getting it from an auto dealer(good one) so I'm guessing its in good condit. already. And i mantain my cars quite well but some cars you just can't help i.e. ford probe....repair one thing another goes wrong.

It's more like you need to give the OWNER a 1-5 rating.

Seriously. The car can only do as well as it's owner maintains it.

Don't maintain, all kinds of problems.

Maintain it religiously, last forever.

Pretty much like a house. Don't keep it up, and it will go to pieces.

If it was my car, it'd last to around 400,000 miles. Will it if you get it?

MPG is about 20.

I currently drive a Dodge Stratus, though it is a little newer. I have heard that it commonly stalls on the freeway, but have never had this problem myself. I have been driving it for five years now. It is a good family car- easily to get kids in and out of, plenty of room for groceries, etc. Gas mileage is pretty good- 25-30 mpg. I would give it a 5/5. They're certainly no BMWs, but for their price and purpose they work well.
