Is a 1997 triumph adventurer going to be a reliable bike?

I have the opportunity to buy a Triumph adventurer 1997, with 27,000 miles on the clock, and a full service history. However, I am no mechanic, and as good as the bike looks, I am worried that it will give me problems. The rule with cars is 'be careful about buying over ten years old'. Any advice for this bike? Thanks

if the bike is a "used daily" then you will have no problems
the bloor Hinkley triumphs only suffer if they spent a lot of time "resting" in the garage
ones that have "never seen rain" are likely to suffer from solenoid and relay problems.
other than that they are brilliant bikes. Early tridents and trophy's suffered from week starters; but this was resolved by the time your bike was built.
the bike has a lot of life left in it to play with.
you won't go wrong, and the adventurer is one of those low lazy sought after models that hold their price.
