...a 2005 Lincoln Aviator? Long story short, my parents and I had a slight disagreement. I was driving one morning (96 Mustang) and it was freezing and my windshield was completely frozen over. I scraped it enough to get going but as I was driving it got foggy so I couldn't see (and the heat takes forever to get hot in the car, so I couldn't use the defroster). I thought I was doing the right thing by trying to pull over right away but I couldn't see and I pulled over the curb (at about 15-20 MPH). The end result was a blown out tire, bent rim, broken control arm, broken front spring, and broken front strut. I've been wanting to buy a 2005 Aviator for a while, but my parents won't let me, so they took this opportunity to explain to me how lucky I was that I didn't have an Aviator because it would've cost so much more to fix. However, I felt that a 5 year old SUV would have taken a curb much better than a 15 year old sports car, but my parents think that both cars would've sustained the exact same damage. I could be wrong, so I figured maybe there's a mechanic out there that may be able to help me out (or prove me wrong).
Thanks.
Thanks.
