Is a 1992 Suzuki LT250R decent?

I may try to get one of these here sometime soon. are they good atv's? are they pretty fast? i currently have a 99 warrior 350 with a bit of work done. its pretty quick for a warrior, but im looking a bit faster for the mx tracks. also, is there anything i should know about them as far as problems? thanks
