Is a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G lens good enough for concert photography?

If it's an outdoor concert during the day and you're shooting wide shots of the entire stage, probably.

A longer zoom will help if you want a tighter shot on a particular performer.

A faster lens like a 2.8 might be better if lighting is dark and you're not allowed to use flash.

But I'm sure that you can get some nice shots with the zoom you have.
