Is $7000 a good buy on a 2002 Harley Davidson V-Rod?

Well, just be aware that there is an upcoming valve adjustment due on it and unless some technic has been devised or Harley changed the frame, the engine needs to be pulled to adjust the valves. no I am not kidding. Problem is that Harley designed the frame (a German I believe, company designed the engine) and cut the clearances too close to get the valve covers off. So what is usually a simple proceedure and around $100 in most shops is now about $500 or more to have done every 6-8000 miles. that is why you will see a lot of VRods with low mileage up for sale. The owners won't/can't foot the bill for the valve adjustment.
