Is 6'2" to tall to be a high school football half back?

My son is going to be a junior in high school. He had been a wide reciever for two years. He is now being put as half back. I don't understand. I think he is to tall and not quick enough to juke.
 
American Football is a joke, everyone in the world believes their pansies with too much padding! Are you trying to turn your son gay by playing that rubbish?
 
It is not too tall, if he could get to 225-240 lbs and maintain a sub 4.65 speed he could get recruited well, if he played good.
 
Not all backs are "elusive" juking around and such. He probably is a beast and is being used as a power back, breaking tackles instead of avoiding tackles and running inside over outside. Also, all backs aren't as bad as, par say, a short linemen. Nothing will really affect him negatively since he isn't trying to be a elusive back from what it seems.
