I'm looking at buying an 1989 Jeep YJ with 119,000 miles on it with an engine and transmission that have been rebuilt in the past 9,000 miles. After researching the KBB, I'm starting to feel like $5000 is too much to pay for the Jeep. Is an 1989 Jeep Wrangler worth $5000, in good condition considering it's age and the fact it's been used?

way to much. i just bought myself a 98 infiniti i30 for $3000, and it only had 120,000 mi on it. $5000 for a jeep older than 2004 is WAY too much. sounds like they are trying to make up for the cost of a rebuilt engine. you would be better off to check the paper for something newer or take your $5000 and make a down payment on something new, which would make your payment dirt cheap
