Is 365 sports a scam?

I got some kind of recruiting letter today for volleyball, but I think it's ridiculous. I'm not as good as a lot of other girls I know and was on the lowest team at my school as a freshman(still a freshman) I think they want to be like, "You're great, but you'd be even greater if you gave us a little more money." It says I would play in other countries and stuff, but I can play volleyball any time without having to go to switzerland! I think it's a scam and am not even considering going because I'm not planning on being professional or anything. I just want to know what other people think.
