The Ford Fusion was named Motor Trend car of the year, because it offers 3 power trains, like the Camry, but better options (like SYNC), better fuel economy (especially the hybrid model), and it doesn't have any recalls on it before it's gone on sale. I think the Malibu might have direct injection on the 4 cylinder engine, and Chevy and Buick offer V6's that have cylinder deactivation, and they also have great reliability. The Mercury Milan is also a great choice too; it offers all the features of the Fusion, but with different style.
