I know you have to learn to let go as a parent but I am concerned. My son wants to go camping with his friends. The friends tend to be unreliable and don't want anything "organised". I want them to go to a proper camp site etc.: they insist on being able to finds something "free". I have a bad feeling about this. What do you think I should do? I have no problem allowing him freedom when things are properly organised. I want him to grow up and have fun and he is an adult. I would welcome any sypathetic help!!
Is 16 too young to let your son go camping with friends?
