is 11mbps a good gaming connection?

i have officially given up on bridging my laptop tomy 360, i wanted to bridge because one of my games i play often lags,anyways how many more mbps would i get if i hooked thrua local connection { ethernet}

so yea just wondering if 11 is good or not so good, my computer runs pretty fast is it means anything
