Is 106,000 miles too much for a 2000 jeep grand cherokee limited ?

Hey, those jeep cherokees's have a Toyota engine! those things last!.. 106,000 miles is not that much... just find out if the people had it since it was brand new! that is always a plus!

-did it have the engine rebuilt?
-is it in good condition?
-did it have a new paint job?
-does it have a salvaged title?

Those are some things you might want to find out!
If the jeep is in immaculate condition, then i would say go for it!

good luck.

Im thinking about buying it but everyones telling me to not buy a car over 100,000 miles. I heard jeeps ran for a while though. My sister had a 96 laredo and it died at 175,000 last year. Its listed for 5, 995. I looked it up on kelly blue book and thats the suggested price. Please let me know if its a good idea or bad
im a girl so i know that the sellers would TRY and pull a fast one on me but my boyfriend and dad dont only know the basics about cars.. my boyfriend says dont buy it but i want a nice car and i only have that much money to afford
its through a car lot its not a individual seller

somewhat. remeber that a car will only go as far as you let it. it depends on how well you are willing to take care of it.

I would try to get it a little under Blue Book, since it does have 100k miles, try going 3500 and see if he will do it, but nah its not too many miles i have heard of jeeps going 200k+

106,000 miles is very low for a 2000 model SUV and the Limited is an upscale model of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, I think $5995 is a little spendy for a 2000 model SUV.

a rule of thumb is 10-15,000 miles for every year.

it's only 8 years old, so that's pushing it with the miles. can you get it checked by a mechanic before you buy it?

I had a toyota that lasted 230,000 miles with no problems. and for a jeep cherokee it will just break down.
