Iron Man Trailer in Quicktime

Horray another comic book tie-in!

Lets hope it better than Fantastic Four, The Hulk and X-Men: The last stand!

:D:D:D

"Iron Man, Iron Man, does whatever an..." oh wait that wrong isn't it?

Well he's not one of my favourite Marvel characters, but this film does look great. But hey, I'm one of those people that think X-Men: Last Stand gets an unnecessarily hard time

I'm not overly critical of it I just think that considering its budget and compared to the other two in the series it felt a little lacking. Perhaps I was overly harsh to lump it in with FF and the Hulk but there you go....

I agree it could have been better, but I think the editing didn't help. There were too many characters with too little to do. Also, in terms of faithfulness to the comics, it just wasn't unlike the first two movies. Mind you, I do actually enjoy FF but only because it was so stupid. And it did have Chris Evans in it. Hulk on the other hand was just a disaster

I would take both those films over final stand, which imo is one of the worst superhero movies of recent times. It just felt so empty, no tension at all.

I also think hulk is one of the most underated films of recent times.

Looks good.
Hulk was fun but it had some flaws, namely it tried to be too serious and the CGI Hulk became a tad unconvincing.
The new one is geared more to the TV series so I'm looking forward to it because I'm more familiar with the TV series then the original comic version, plus Edward Norton seems a perfect David Banner.

Is there any well known Marvel heroes not yet turned into a movie (or planned for one).
I think Captain America & Thor are next in line to be made.

Until there is a major flop expect to see films based on everyone who has ever appeared in a marvel (or dc, for that matter) comic. I mean they even have a Ant Man film in development

I'm having difficulty finding that on IMDB. Can you be more specific?

The Iron Man comic started in 1963, so I guess it depenRAB on the similarities, and if it pre-dates that.

My bad, looking it up now it was actually just called "Steel"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120207/

Also since I had nothing else to do tonight I decided to try to answer my own question by looking it up on wikipedia.

Steel

Iron Man

Turns out there is quite a big difference as Steel was actually part of the Superman universe. Also Iron Man was around 30 years before Steel so its obvious who copied who's idea.

It turns out that the Steel film was a huge flop and critically hated but I actually quite liked it, it makes a decent TV movie, but I can understand why it failed at the cinema.

Hopefully by the looks of it the Iron Man film looks a lot better.
