I show this movie for a 2nd time even better the 2nd time around.

I loved how the movie set up for Avengers too with Thors hammer at the end and Captain America's shield. Also I don't know if anyone else caught it but I did when I saw it again but when Nick Fury is talking to Tony at the end they are showing the news report from the campus scene in the Incredible Hulk movie on the tv screens. I just thought that was a really cool way to add a Hulk reference too and get all the Avengers involved in some way in the movie.

I really enjoyed this movie! I liked it more than I thought that I would.

I just want to know if they have any out-takes of SR's performance because I don't know how he could get through all his lines without messing up. He was so funny. :)

Being i saw it at a regular new AMC theater I max , i am going to se it again at the huge IMAX theater near me . Bigger screen huge 500 bose speakers . Funny .I am in Massachusetts , the two biggest IMAX theaters are located in Furniture store  But it is the biggest outlet in the country .JORDENS Furniture Theater holds like 650 people .

Only other I max are at Science Museum and Aquarium

Love to see more of Black Widow, not sure if the casting for Avengers has her name in it .

As for Iron Man 3 why not ? Downey has the sequel to sherlock holmes to make first and i think at least one more regular movie .

I didn't really comment on SR's performance because I was not blown away by his performance. Actually the way he kept standing up on his toes, (which you could tell he did A LOT, when his head moved up and back down again on the screen.) was really annoying to me. The only part I really liked of his was when he was being annoyed by Ivan and what Ivan was doing. Those scenes were just so funny/great.

I just thought his character was predictable, annoying and played out exactly as I would have thought.

Mickey Rourke played his character with such great complexity.

We stayed for the ending of the credits, both times (I saw it again last night.) and every time everyone in the theater gasped and was all excited.

Speaking of the Captain American shield, each time I saw Iron Man 2 and it came to that scene. As soon as the shield was on the screen everyone laughed and when Tony used it to even everything out, everyone clapped and was like "Yes!". :lmao:

Great scene.

Enjoyed the movie and the deep storyline of how Tony Stark got to really know his fathers love and what his plans where .would have liked to see more of black widow ,she was kick ass . My only disapointment perhaps was the final fight scene with whipflash /War Machine and Iron man after defeating the mega robots thought the new suit and energy Whipflash had would make a longer intense fight

all in all I enjoyed the movie ,it move Iron man on in his life and story how he had to mature and finally admit his love for Pepper .fight off possible death buy his own creation not buy any super villian . the action the music was off the charts

Love the wit and humor of tony stark , why I waited till the end of the credits for a 45 sec scene of the agent, who was assigned to Stark, off in New Mexico showing the unearthed Thor Hammer .
When they had filmed this movie they hadn't even picked the actor to play Thor yet.

Anyone notice the Captain America Shield Tony used to brace and level the laser /energy gun to energies his new element to use in his chest ?

Saw the movie yesterday and it was incredible!

The reviews have been saying that the movie was good but that it had too many different stories in it. I say **** that! It was all those different stories that made this film as great as it was.

Robert Downey Jr.- He was definately the right man for the job as far as Iron Man/Tony Stark is concerned. He pulls it off well.

GP- I totally agree, while I loved her in the first one, she had so much more in this one which was great.

DC- I am not a big fan when it comes to recasting roles so when I found out that they had replaced Howard with Don I wasn't a big fan. Gotta admit though he definately stepped up and did a terrific job as Rodey.

SJ- She never struck me as superhero type but again I was proven wrong. I loved her doing the whole double identity thing as Natalie and as the Black Widow. She totally kicked ass too which I loved.

SLJ- Seeing him in that small ending of the first Iron Man was great but then to have him as a somewhat central character was even better.

MR- Could you ask for a better bad guy?! All of his scenes kept me on the edge of my seat. Wiplash kept throwing suprise after surprise so I never really could tell what was up with him.

SR- Knew something was fishey about his character the way he turned out to be the kind of science adversary for Tony in the proceedings. No matter how many times those stories get told, they never get old- the stories in which bad guy A works with bad guy B and bad guy A gets betrayed by bad guy B. Love those.

Ending- Anyone catch the ending sequence? We didn't but my sister told my mom and I was able to find it on YT. My thoughts were right. When that SHIELD agent said he had to go to New Mexico I kept wondering who it might be and then I realized it had to be Thor. Sure enough it was!

Final Thoughts- So glad I got to be home this weekend and watch this movie. It was incredible. Every minute of this movie was so much fun. Now I'm begging for a 3rd Iron Man and I hope the Avengers movie gets here quick too!

you left out Sam Rockwell who I thought was the best part of the movie. He steals the show as Justin Hammer IMO.

I went to the midnight last night I really enjoyed it. Think I liked the first one alittle more but this is a great follow up. I liked the story alittle more in the first Iron Man but thought this one was much funnier. Robert Downey Jr, Sam Rockwell and even Mickey Rourke were all very funny. Mickey was not only funny but a bad ass villain aswell.
Don Cheadle was a step up as Rhodes. Liked him more than Howard. Just thought he had better chemistry with Robert. Scarlett as Black Widow was a nice ass kicking chick addition to the movie. She was super sexy and bad ass. Sam Jackson was basically just Sam Jackson with an eye patch but he was cool when he was in it.

The action was far and between but when it came time for the action scenes they were awesome and jam packed with action.

Just a fun movie that ranks right up there with the first Iron Man. Also if your a comic book fan stick around after the credits for alittle surprise :D

Iron Man 2 is better than Iron Man. IMO.

I saw it last night at a midnight showing.

Was absolutely awesome. There were five parts in which the whole theater busted out clapping because those parts were so good.

RD Jr. is just awesome, as always.

GP is always good and I really liked her more in this one then the last.

SJ was out of control! Seriously.

There was definitely not enough Samuel L. Jackson in this movie though. :(

And Mickey Rourke? Don't even get me started on how phenomenal he is. Best villain.

Can't wait till everyone else sees it. :yay:

You are going to love it.

This movie will definitely rock. I love it's I part and hope second one is also great..;)
