I know that elements basically get to overloaded when they exceed the strong force, causing radioactivity. How would you necessarily make a new Element. Is there an atomic number that we don't currently have that isn't over 118? Or is there a different reason we cannot make new elements, not just the problem with exceeding the strong force. Is It possible that the purpose of the new element was that is was extremely unstable and gave an extremely great source of energy? This was a cool part in the movie and I didn't really understand the logic or purpose of this discovery.
