Hi, i was wondering if anybody could give me some insight on my Irons labs, they are a follow up from my ferritin test being 15. Any insight is much welcomed espcially on the "low" readings.

HBA1C = 5.1% (4-6)
HBA1C = 32 mmol/mol (20-42)
Total White cell count = 3.6 (4-11) "low"
Red Blood Cell (RBC) = 4.63 (4.5-6.5)
Haemoglobin estimation = 15.3 g/dl (13-18)
Mean Corpuscular Volume = 93.5 FL (76-100)
Mean Corpuscular Haemoglobin = 33 pg (27-34)
Mean Corpuscular HB.Conc = 35.3 (33-36.9)
RBC Distribution Width = 13.7 (11.5-15.2)
Platelet Count = 146 (150-400) "low"
Mean Platelet Volume = 8.0 fl (7.5-12.4)
Neutrophil Count = 1.6 (1.7-7.5) "low"
Lymphocyte Counter = 1.6 (1.5-4.0)
Monocyte Count = 0.4 (0.2-0.8)
Eosinophil count = 0.1 (0-0.4)
Basophil count = 0.0 (0-0.1)

Thanks alot

Anemia is a well-known disease. It affects more women than men, and, with current dietary trends women are at risk more than ever for developing iron-deficiency anemia. Iron deficiency anemia begins when the stores of iron in the bone marrow, liver, and spleen become depleted. As the stores get low, the TIBC (total iron binding count) becomes elevated and anemia results.
