It's not different at all. The only way he(and others who support his insane views) can win this argument is to somehow say that because Israel stands on higher moral and ethical ground, it deserves world respect and support.
That is how they argue, because they know they got nothing else to justify what they are doing. The tactic is this:
Put your enemy down to a level where you can criticize him for being uncivilized and barbaric and then you have some form of a legal argument why that enemy should not be helped.
Those people, however, always seem to forget this statement:
"Morality and ethics is in the eye of the beholder, and what is moral to you, is probably very immoral to me."
Just because they say that the US and Israel are the good guys, it doesn't mean it is that way. Good and Bad are relative terms, left alone for interpretation for all. They want to tell you that good and bad has a fixed meaning, and that Israel is always the good guy, and all those who oppose Israel are the bad ones.
This is why the rest of the world watches like this at Israel and America.
