I'm currently in year 10 and I want to join the Australian Defence Force when I finish school, but I'm having trouble choosing the subjects for year 11 and 12 that would give me an edge over other people going for the same job (linguist in the Army- RASigs). The education requirement for this job is a pass in English and Maths in year 10.
So far I've chosen Adv Maths, Adv English, French Beginners, Modern History, Society and Culture and IPT (Information Process and Technology), but I heard that Chemistry is a desireable subject for the ADF, so therefore I'm thinking of changing either Society and Culture or IPT to Chemistry.
But I don't know which one I should change as knowledge in society and culture seem important when going for a language related job, but then again, considering the job is under RASigs, maybe IPT would be more useful?
