I use Ipratropium Bromide/Albuterol solution in my Nebulizer when needed. Right after I am done with it, I get the shakes and chills as well as a slightly rapid heartbeat for about 20 minutes. Both my doctor and Pharmacist say this is normal, but I don't like it. Sometimes I can't even hold a glass of water in my hand without dropping it. It really does help my breathing, but there has got to be something else. Does anybody use a solution that doesn't cause this?

sorry but that's about it. It will get better after a while as your body adjusts to it. I have to do 2 puRAB of albuterol before I jog and now, after many years of asthma, it no longer bothers me. You could try Xoponex and see if the symptoms are better and it works as well for you. Otherwise, that's about it.

A lot of albuteral will give you the shakes. There are several other neb solutions, so you may want to check with your doc. Syrabacort as well as Xopenex neb do the same thing to me. I"m currently using Brovana and it doesn't affect me that way.

Good luck
Lynn
