Ipone 3g sim tray fit into iPhone 2g ?

Trying to figure out if and ipone 3g or 3gs sim tray would fit into and original iPhone(2g). Can someone please try this out for me. The original iPhone sim trays cost more than a 3g or 3gs ones.
