I have a 2nd Gen iPod touch that has recently begun having connection isseues in my car. I dont know the exact stereo at the moment but its basically a JVC stereo with a usb plug on front and it does and has supported my ipod in the past. Recently though when I connect my iPod it will play for 2 or 3 seconds but then I hear a sizzling sound in the speakers and then the music cuts out while the ipod shows that it is still playing. I have treid different cables and nothing has worked. I then tried my girlfriends ipod touch 2G in my car and it worked fine. Despite this, my ipod still connects and syncs to my computer without a problem and it connects to my girlfriends iTower without problems, (although her iTower is old and it does not charge the ipod if that makes a difference i dont know) Does anyone know what the problem may be or if it is possible to fix this?
No mine has a source button that changes from FM-USB-Aux-CD and when I put on USB with an ipod attached it says ipod and connects. It worked before just lately has a problem.
