My iPod touch 4G which is about 5 months old got totally drained/discharged after regular use and shut down. Now I connect it to PC's USB port to get it charged but nothing happens. I connect it to direct power/USB adapter I have but still nothing happens. I changed the cable yet nothing. Is there something wrong with my relatively new iPod? Its hard to believe yet it shows no sign of life. Is there any special way to charge iPod when it is totally drained?
