okay so i gots a new iPod and i was wanting to jailbreak this one as i did my last... not so simple.
some may know how they are makign it harder to jailbreak iDevices and most are tethered now, which i am okay with.
My problem is that when i try and download the 4.2.1 firmware as ipsw which is what the program wants me to save it as, instead i can only get .zip which saves it as a winRAR folder and i cannot use it with redsn0w.
if anyone knows how to properly download this firmware so that it goes to my desktop and is not a folder but insteal the proper
iOS 4.2.1 firmware which redsn0w requires? best answer goes to whoever gets it right
