Ok , I have the 1st gen. iPod touch.
The software version I have is 2.2.1, and I'm trying to jailbreak it with blackra1n.
I have blackra1n dowloaded and working fine.
I've watched tutorials on Youtube on how to do this a couple times, and I'm sure I have ALL the steps right, like, Im positive.
Everything happens like it supposed to, and the blackra1n message pops up saying "Enjoy your jailbroken iPhone" blah blah blah.
But after blackra1n runs, iTunes comes up and says that my iPods in recovery mode, and can't be used with iTunes until I restore it.
But everything is fine with my iPod on iTunes and stuff.
The only thing that is messedup is the iTunes recovery thing, and the fact that the blackra1n icon doesnt show up on my iPod springboard, even though I have wifi.
Please help.
