I have a jailbroken Ipod touch 3G 3.1.2, with cydia proswitcher winterboard backgrounder and Installous.
i deleted all my apps. I want to unjailbreak and update to 4.0.0. Since i cant just restore from the itunes because it will update to 4.0.2. So i downloaded ios 4.0 for itouch 3G on http://techpp.com/2010/06/21/download-ios-4-firmware-upgrade/ and when i hold option and restore and select the file it says this ipod is not eligible for the requested build.
i am redownloading it now and gonna try again but how do i fix this problem and upgrade to 4.0.0 so i can jailbreak it again......
