Just got my mom an iTouch, and put The Weather Channel app on it today. I have that app on my iTouch and it works fine.
It will open for only about 3 seconds and then it will go back to the home page.
I've turned it off, left it alone for around 5 minutes, and turned it back on and that didn't help. I deleted it twice off the ipod and then reloaded it, still didn't work. Restarting it with the sleep/wake and home button didn't work either.
Please don't say to restore it because I don't sync my music and I'm not going to do that. I'll try anything else though. Please help!! I'm open to any suggestions.
