So i just got the new iPhone 4 on a $69 cap. Before this i was a pre-paid phone owner. I wanted to get on the $49 cap as i usually went through about two $29 a month (pre-paid) The vodafone guy said on the 49 cap i'd have to pay an extra $5 a month so it would be $54 a month with 1 gig download, and said that on the $69 cap I wouldn't have to pay the $5 fee, get 2 gig download, and free text to everyone. I asked him if i would get free text on the 49 cap and he said no.
So i went with the 69 cap cause i mainly text. I make 1 or 2 calls a week. Plus, i connect up to my wifi at home so i knew i wouldnt need 2 gig of downloads.
Anyway, I text a lot so the only reason I went up to 69 cap was because i was scared of paying a huge fee if i went over my cap.
I've now heard from a friend that you get free texts on the 49 cap as well??
Is this true?
If so, I'm really pissed off! The a-hole lied to me!
Does it cost anything to go from a 69 to a 49 cap on a plan??
