Does jailbreaking the Iphone void the iphone warranty, does it void a warranty that has been bought seperate?

I can't seem to get my phone to start, i will make a video and put it on youtube may 28, 2008 and plz plz help

You have voided the Apple warranty for sure...
If you bought outside insurance and the contract does not say anything about that then you should be okay, but I am pretty sure if you jailbroke it then it will not be honored..
Call the other insurance and ask them if they will honor a bricked iPhone for the warranty you purchased.

if the iPhone wont turn on then you will have to restore it. plug it in to ur computer and open up your itunes. click the restore button in itunes and click to back up your files, all of your third party apps and installer will be gone, but at least you have everything else and at least your phone works now. yes, it voids the warranty.
