Iphone or android for verizon?

I want an iphone. Are iphone 4s slow like the other ones? The other iphones always slow when u click on the apps to open them it takes a while. Does the iphone 4 do this
 
the older iphones like the 3g had a slower processor in them... the Iphone 4 has the new processor and runs very smootly... I recommend you wait til october... apple will launch the new iphone 5
 
i would definately go with android. there the same thing except the iphone is not as user friendly.
(example): you cannot change the original backround on the iphone, android will even let you put your own pictures for a backround.
