Okay, so im thinking about buying a factory unlocked iPhone, or jail breaking and unlocking one myself. The question(s) is/are do iPhone's have signal without the sim card? If i got a sim card with no data usage (is this possible?) and used free texting applications would I have a monthly fee? Is there a way to get a AT&T sim card just for connection and use applications for texting and calling? Way to with jailbroken iPhone?
