Just bought an iPhone 3Gs(HK unlocked version) and it feels rather restrictive...the feeling started when I opened it and wanted to try it out but I had to download itunes and connect to a computer first.
The itunes interface for applications for my iPhone seems buggy, it shows all the apps on my home page with the other pages on the right but I can't scroll down or click other pages, it's like it's frozen except everything else works. so I can't sync apps downloaded from my computer. I already bought an app and it's on my computer but when I click sync it says some things might be replaced and I can't scroll down to SEE if the app I bought will be included in the sync.
I think there should be some record of what my account has purchased and should allow me to download it from my phone for free but there's no prompt, I still have to click the buy button and I'm not sure if it'll charge me again. Can anyone confirm?
**it seems you have to live your whole life on itunes to have a smooth experience...I have my files all over the place, I only had itunes for my ipod and I'm frequently getting empty folder errors and stuff...The loads of hacks to broaden the accessibility of the phone seems to confirm this thought. Rather restrictive user experience.
