The best way to repair is to bring it to the neares service center, may i be apple or AT&T. IPhone is very sensitive in moisture and worst, water. As per my experience, when moisture appears at the LCD of IPhone, i cannot use the touchscreen unless i dry it with a piece of cloth.

I was at a roller coaster park the other day and it was raining, i would bring my iphone out occasionally to look at the time and it was fine. But near the end of the trip, the iphone seemed to have broken.

When the iphone is on, I see the white screen with a little bar from top to bottom on the right hand side. I am able to hold the "home and power button" but it just comes back! When it's off, it just has a normal black screen.

I just tried and i am able to plug into itunes and itunes recognizes it and does the whole sync thing, but the iphone still has a white screen. I'm thinking its just the screen that is damaged and not the actual iphone. We have a local At&t store but not an apple store, but i didnt go there yet.I already tried blow drying and blowing into the holes, nothing happened. 10 POINTS BEST ANSWER

Um, that's why you don't get iPhones wet. Unless you actually no what you are doing, you aren't going to fix it yourself. Take it to the store and pray you have a warranty that covers playing with electronics in the rain.

Take the phone apart and cover everything in a bowl of rice. Let it dry out in the rice for 24 hours. If after that it does not work.......I hope you insured it.

I got soap in mine and you could see it on the screen. I stupidly tried to wash it out with water which made it worse. I took it into the shop and they said that water damage was irreversible. Try asking in the place where you got it. At least your phone is working unlike mine did!
